"These chocolates are soooo good! — How do you do it?!"
It's simple, really. Our chocolate truffles get their exceptional flavor from our choice of exceptional ingredients. We only use high quality French Chocolate, the finest nuts and real fruit. We use European-style butter, and all natural cream. We "keep it simple" so it's simply good.
All of our products are produced in small batches which guarantees quality and ensures freshness. Each chocolate is shaped and hand-dipped in the traditional methods of the French Chocolatiers.
We hope you enjoy them!
OUR NAME AND "THE HORSE"
Are you wondering why there is a horse on our label?
When coming up with a name for the business, I looked no further than another new passion of mine~ horses! Just as a golden horse with a white mane and tail is known as a Palomino, a cream colored horse is known as a Perlino.
The wild perlino mustang on the label is a symbol of the power of horses. Perlino Chocolates supports “Horse Power for Life” ~Enriching the lives of families living with cancer. ![]()

My name is Jean Keller and I own and operate Perlino Chocolates. I earned my professional chef’s degree in 1991 and was an active member of the Women’s Culinary Guild in Boston, MA as a pastry chef for ten years, "rubbing elbows" with the likes of Julia Child. In 1996 I went to Paris and studied at the Ritz Escoffier under the direction of Master Chef Gerard Burbon. Most recently, I studied French artisanal technique with Master Chocolatier, Delphin Gomes. After 30 years as a print designer in the advertising industry, a career change now has me drawing on my creative design skills with every chocolate creation!
